    it was mine. great car and an early MK11 from SPF. It had the right motor and transaxle. I also has SP055 Daytona and CAV MONO14 as well as Kirkham 266 Cobra, all great cars

    Thanks foe the replies, I will look into all the suggestions. I am going to put in a new slave since it it such an easy fix and check the linkage. Hopefully it is not a bell housing issue.

    Veek, it is a ZF, it uses an Audi slave, an easy exchange for a new one. I will check the throw arm for defects. Thanks as always

    No go on the clutch rust possibility, but I do appreciate the suggestion. It appears that I am not getting much movement on the clutch arm, slave or master issue?

    I got the ignition fixed so I decided to take the car out for a spin. Started it up and tried to put it in reverse but the gears were grinding.     CAV ignition switch question

    I got a new switch and changed it out. I turned it to the on position and my fans and vacuum pump came on( as they should) , then tried to start it and it immediately shut down, cutting off all electrical. Suggestions? Veek, I will change put that white connector and see if that solves it.

    Intermittently it will just stop turning over and all electronics shut off when trying to start. I thought it was the relay, but I changed it and no better. Battery hot coming in to the switch is fine, but ign out dead. Looks like a Lucas part, big surprise .

    It appears that my ignition switch is bad on MONO66. I have the relay upgrade but I need to know where to find a replacement switch like the one on the car, with blade connectors. The ones I have seen online look like different. Thanks, chuck

    8 stack close to header. heat problems

    Unfortunately this pic was taken when I was trial fitting the piece. I attached it at the bottom of the stacks and then bent it down to cover the throttle bodies.
