Some use the upper. You can still bleed it, just not as easy. I use the lower. Looks better.

    Stephan's SLC Build Log

Hi Alex, I understand your frustration. Many factors are playing in such setup. From cam profile, exhaust flow over total runner length etc. If the harmony is not there between all pieces the outcome can be such as yours.

    Stephan's SLC Build Log

Hi Alex, I remember you are telling me this before. I had ITBs and weber carburated open throttle cars in the past and I am fully aware of what it takes to get them to work. For me there is no better natural aspirated power adder to a race engine, looks and sound like an ITB setup. Not plug and...

Hello Johan, That is exactly the question which drove every ITB user into insanity. There is no free lunch using this setup. It is race breed and requires rpm to properly function since there is not enough vacuum until about 5000 rpm for a MAP and the TPS only was always assuming a constant...

Hi Marcus, It all depends on how the package will fit and look when the assembly is completed. I'll make the decision about airboxes along the way. Stephan

Hello Joel, that makes two of us. It is a lot right know but I think the outcome will be one of a kind and I have to add drool protection:cool:. Still wondering what that engine will pull when all done.

One Sunday morning while happily terminating my dash electrical system and probably drinking too much coffee something hit me. Going back to the beginnings on my build log I was dreaming of using an LS7...

That is how it is being done. Nice job on the bracket and being creative not cutting the frame.

Thank you, I think the vent trim will go well with the Audi shifter console, the A/C controls and other brushed aluminum pieces.

    Stephan's SLC Build Log

I was looking around for a while for some nice dash vents and remembered that previous builders used Audi vents. The aluminum trim and the mechanism are second to none. I am finding those aesthetically pleasing and the trim will nicely accompany the rest of the interior but it takes some effort...

    Stephan's SLC Build Log

Here are my continued adventures with my dashboard. I had to modify the steering column, raised it about 3/4" and was able to center it a little better. I have long arms and also noticed that the gauges are covered by the upper part of the steering wheel rim. After the modification I am having...
