I ended up saving the SO block and building a stroked out 363 instead. Will save a ton of space and weight and pulls 550hp with 8 stack setup. Now I just need to get a pulley system with accessories for the front end so I can get started in spring.
How far do most people recommend building the GT40 before getting it painted? I’m wondering how far I should go into the build before sending out to body shop for final fitment of body lines and paint? I assume I’ll have to take pretty much everything out when getting it painted.
