    XLR Column for sale

I have rather large feet ... LOL ... So I am using a 2010 Corvette non electric column. For any one on the forum, I will sell for $200 plus shipping cost. After looking on Ebay, I think that's fair.

    XLR Column for sale

I have the XLR column that comes with the SLC for sale. Includes the steering wheel and quick release that is supplied. Figure I would see if any one needs it here before I put it out on Ebay. Have a spare e-brake handle too !

    LSA SLC Build Log

Not sure if I will just cut a small slot for clearance, or have a plastic shop heat it and make a bubble shape to clear the back corners. I have a while to figure it out. LoL

That rear coil spring looks kinda close to being in "coil bind". Have you seen the postings on changing the spring rates ?

Yes. That is the highest temp Fire Sleeve I could get at Summit Racing. I am also using the Nomex type cloth hose for all my lines. It also has a high temp rating. I am still considering a secondary heat shield between the lines and the bend in the exhaust tube. I may forward a couple pix to...

So the main reason I had to remove the oil pan was the oil lines that come from the side of the pan. Using a fabricated oil pan, you have to run lines to the filter and oil cooler. I SHOULD have noticed this on the engine stand, not months later in the car .... that's on me .. but there was no...

Well I'm blushing :shy: .... Thanks for the compliments ... I've been building cars for 20+ years, and have the full list of toys to help, milling machine, lathe, press, tig welders and such. But I must be honest, the SLC has been a challenge for me. Some times too much creative freedom ISN'T a...

The GM mounts that Fran supplied. With the windage and pickup tube on this LSA .... The pan had to come STRAIGHT down. I felt I was too far along to considder removing the engine, just to get the pan off. The way that the cross member is now held in the "pockets" on the ends, I think it should...

Warning to all. It is near impossible to remove an oil pan from an LS. Or at least it was for me with my combination. End result was to cut out the cross member, remove it in three sections, and fab a new one that will come out If needed. Parts are at powder coater, I'll post pix...

    Hydraulic lift cylinders for sale

Great Idea about the lift sleeve on top of the spring ! One issue I had was the "loop" for the suspension travel in the hose. I will be moving mine to the top of the spring ! Thanks !

    Hydraulic lift cylinders for sale

I have seen pictures of the lift sleeve on top of the spring, and pictures of it below the spring. As far as I can tell it will work both ways. Is there a "correct" position ?

So my nephew turned 16 years old ... So Uncle Bob (me) is gonna fix up something for his first car ... One thing leads to another as you all know. What started off as just some small issues with a nice used truck, turned in to a partial respray, LOTS of small things, and an interior cleaning...

    Mazda 20 B engine in SL-C

I talked to Fran about the wing and the issue with leaving it off. He said it starts working around 60MPH so keep in mind you may not have a whole lot holding you down after that ! LoL
