I was thinking about traction control, but I'm not sure if it will make it in the budget. May just try it without it the first season out. I am using the stock Z06 size tires front and rear. Heat exchangers: I called around and tried to make sure I was going to have enough cooling capacity...

    Bulkhead fitting

LOL .. I was looking for the same thing. Didn't have time to search and ended up cutting one in half, tig welding in a filler section.

C&R Racing has different sizes of heat exchangers (1-317-293-4100). They were helpful sizing the cooler to my application. They also sell complete units. I had a unique situation since my cooling tubes were finished, I had to make the cooler tank fit my car ... kinda backwards ... The core was...

    SLCs with forced induction

With a custom oil pan (the LSA is wet sump) the LSA fits. Top hat ends up a bit too high to hide, but the crate motor is much less expensive.

Installed an oil cooler in one of the engine cooling lines. Original plan was for an air cooled unit, but with the lack of space exposed to air flow, found a nice spot for this water cooled version.

I have a boost referenced fuel pressure regulator. As boost goes up ... fuel pressure goes up at 1:1 ratio. So I will start probably at 50psi base line. With the boost max at 15psi ... the top end will be between 65-70psi.

Surge tank is made from sheet aluminum (getting lots of aluminum fab work practice!). Tank is wrapped in Dynamat for sound, and a layer of heat foil. High pressure pump is mounted to machined lip in top.

Installed the fuel pump to fill the surge tank. I am using a low pressure inline pump that will feed an in-tank high pressure pump to the LSA. The black filter also has a shut off valve.

The power steering delete and the A/C compressor brackets were a pain ! I'm using a spring loaded tensioner on the compressor. I hope it doesn't slip when the compressor cycles.

I made an idler setup to replace the power steering pump. Worked great. A little hint for every one else ... The new Camaro's have electric power steering and there is a GM idler set up that fits in that spot. Of coarse I found this out AFTER I made the one on my car.

Pipes are 3" mild steel and will be Jet Hot coated. I also plan to wrap the mufflers to help keep heat off the tail section.

Exhaust .. I will not admit to the two other versions that did NOT turn out well. Using the stock Z06 manifolds I changed the angle on the flange so it pointed straight down. This helped in getting the pipe past the frame with some breathing room.
