Please could someone confirm that the tacho's used on the original Mk1s were 8000 rpm. Also was there a red line marked? If so at what figure? Has anyone any photos showing the red line markings or can refer to any particular photos in any of the books? Thanks very much

If your car was registered in 1991, then I would imagine the newer engine is not relevant for cat emmissions. Just go along with the 1991 emmissions. After all, if you have a 1988 Astra and put a new engine in it, you don't have to retrofit cats. Do you?

Does anyone know of a decent software for drawing wiring diagrams for a car. I want to draw a wiring diagram for my car, but be able to modify it later, and I don't want to use pencil and eraser. Anyone any suggestions of a software that works and is cheap, or preferably free?
