Here's a couple of pics I was sent which may jog someones memory. The car was imported into Australia so I'd guess wasn't built there. The chassis number ends in 89 so a 1989 build?

Thanks Mike, I did find this on another thread you posted a while back. The chassis number I've been sent has the GTD40 at the front, then 4 digits, then an 'M' and 6 last digits. So doesn't seem to fit??? Would every chassis get stamped from the factory or maybe the builder chose this?

I've been contacted by the Roads and Maritime Services / vehicle registration authority in New South Wales, Australia about a car they are trying to register over there. Anyone have info on the factory built cars to try and trace this one? I've got a chassis number and need to try and verify...

I've just got a gasket set for my 302 (Mahle HS3530VJ) I can't seem to find any info online wether they are compatible with the edelbrock performer ally heads I've got - any one used this set?

We don't have anyone that is organising the event and not enough to man the stand either. I believe there are enough cars available though.

Ian is correct, i remember when I had my rod gear-change made that where it passes through a rose joint, it needed to be made in solid bar as tube is never perfectly round. Might be worth getting the car hot and removing the rear connection on the box and see if you can easily select gears...

John it'll depend on what various components are on your car - I'd guess its about 12 litres total, use 50/50 water/antifreeze.

I've got the smiths units - they use an electronic pickup off the CV joint bolt heads so no need for magnets. You program the unit with a simple equation that they give you to set it up when you install the speedo to start with. Smiths Instruments and Gauges for the Ford GT40

I just have a bracket on the bulkhead, between the two seats - it puts the camera at about my eyeline.

The Surrey meet will be your closest, once a month - only 5 mins off the M25/A3 junction. We only met last week so it'll be a month before the next one, 7.30pm on-wards.
