    Mark B's Build Thread

Beautiful car Mark. I love the look of the side mirrors mounted on the horizontal part of the doors or hood.

FS USA Superlite GT-R build parts

I might not end up building a Superlite GT-R so I thought I'd sell some of the parts I have already collected. I will ship to Canada and the USA. 1- Ford GT billet top vents and billet side vents. Top vents are powder coated white. Side vents are powder coated satin black. Brand new. These are...

Has anyone registered an SLC in British Columbia?

There were 2 built/registered in Alberta, mine in Manitoba (not registered yet) and one built/registered in Ontario.

Unfortunately there is no bolt on exhaust system available for the SL-C car. That would be one of the main items requiring welding. A radiator fan shroud would also involve fabricating and welding.

Which brake master cylinders are you using Craig? Are you using a steering angle sensor and YAW sensor to add dynamic stability control as well?

Outside diameter of the trim ring is 5 inches. Inside diameter of the trim ring is 3.700 inches. Outside diameter of lens on Hella light is approximately 3.555 inches (at base of lens). Keep in mind that these driving lights are designed for the RCR GT-R.

My girlfriend lives in Hudson Quebec. The car hobbyists there tell me it's very difficult to register specialty cars in Quebec. Was it difficult for you to register the Factory 5 car Francois?

    FS USA Superlite build parts

Superlite SL-C/GT-R handbrake kit. Complete new kit as sold by RCR. The only thing missing is the generic handle mounting plates that most builders don’t use. These kits are $1295 from RCR. My calipers don’t have the SL-C script. For sale shipped for $600 in USA/Canada.

    FS USA Superlite build parts

Superlite GT-R fog lights, trim rings and brackets. These do not include the fibreglass buckets or plexiglass covers. I built a set for myself and with the remaining material I was required to buy I have built 2 extra sets. Trim ring mounts on the front and the brackets mount from the back. Trim...

Superlite SL-C mirrors. I built a pair for my car and a spare set while I was at it. These are built with aero shaped stems. The mirror head can be loosened with the included Allan head t-handle wrench to reposition it for the best aesthetics. The aero stem and triangle base is powder coated...

    FS USA Superlite build parts

Superlite GT-R track mirrors. These mirrors were built with strength in mind. Fully assembled with the Impala power mirror guts installed. Two threaded rods were installed full length in each stem and then the cavity was filled with 2-part epoxy. The base was also beefed up with aluminum to...

    FS USA Superlite build parts

Selling some parts I most likely will not need in the future. 10” Spal brushless fans (pair). Ideal size for supercharger intercoolers. Same fans used by Koenigsegg. Each fan is rated at 321watts. They are surface mount and not the drop in style. These would work nicely with the SL-C radiator...

    Ken's SLC build thread

There is a member on a Facebook BMW ABS brakes retrofit group that is developing a passive to active module for converting wheel speed outputs. It’s currently in the testing stage if anybody is interested in one. He is pricing them at $325. Here are a couple of pictures.

    Side exhaust

If it's a LS engine then the cheapest route is to buy the LS7 exhaust manifolds and add the mating flanges. It's hard to beat the performance of the LS7 manifolds. Only well designed full length headers will out perform them but cost a lot more money. The LS7 manifolds can be found for $150.

    Jim's RCR GT-R build

Edit the image again by rotating it to a different position (like upside down) and then save it. Edit it one more time by rotating it to the correct position then save it, then post it. That usually works for me.

    Chuck's Jaguar D Type Build

Here is the inertia switch I use and recommend. It’s widely available by Standard Motor Products and AC Delco as well. I believe Porsche used it in the 928.

    Chuck's Jaguar D Type Build

I'd be careful with using general purpose "primary wire" in the engine compartment. The higher heat can cause the insulation to shrink back at the ends exposing the bare conductor. A TXL type of wire is the preferred wire for the engine bay.
