    SL-C electric water pump questions

Howard I remember situations in the seventies when removing a thermostat would not allow a car to run cooler, hence the coolant went through the radiator so fast the heat transfer was inefficient. S2 I don't eat scalding hot soup, I give it time to cool :)

Need Verification on Fuel Tank Threads

Dan what was the first sealant you used? I used permatex #3 aviation sealant. It did leave a question in my mind as it said that alcohol may affect it. I haven't put fuel in the tank yet so I'm curious how successful you are. What did you try the second time around?

Dakota Digital to Koso signal wire

Thanks Pete! I was thinking of your trials and tribulations with drivability as I was typing in the Questions.

Dakota Digital to Koso signal wire

I know this has been hashed over many times before on the forums but I just want to clarify the wiring. I am assuming the Koso only needs on wire to operate the speedo. Ive seen reference to not using two wires that would normally go to the wheel speed sensor. What is the correct wire color to...

    Reverse light switch polarity

I have a g96.01 which has two terminals on the switch. I just wanted to see what others were doing with theirs. Power it is. Thanks!

    Reverse light switch polarity

Its starting to get serious with the wiring and I was wondering (or maybe over thinking , too many hours in the garage). Power or ground through the reverse light switch?

    Ken's SLC build thread

Cam, That is something you should reconsider. The weight of the car should be supported by the cars hub and the center of the wheel. The lug studs aren't designed to support the weight of the car on the conical ends of the lugs. In my years of experience as a service manager I've seen many ill...

    Wiring routing

Thats a great idea. At worst you could use an electricians snake to get the smaller wires through.

    Wiring routing

I will be using an Estopp brake ( with some trepidation after Cams post!) I do believe with proper insulation installed it will be ok to run the wiring down the center spine. With the interior tub and separate upper center console it would seem to allow easier access for future mods that would...

    Wiring routing

Have any of your builds utilized the fuel tank pass thru as a route for the infinity cable, powertrain wiring etc? I'm at this juncture and am contemplating the best procedure. Thanks

I've tried searching the web and GT40's but cannot find this info. Anyone know whats recommended. I did find the OEM capacity is 2.85 quarts but wasn't sure when the transaxle is reoriented. Also would Shell Spirax 75-90 but the best fluid?

    Design An Emblem?

Ps. How about the legs each in a different color Red,White and Blue to represent both the British and American connections?

    Design An Emblem?

Will who designed this masterpiece? The Isle of Man connection is brilliant! Testament to the SLC philosophy that less is more. Please find a way to produce the linear badge. I do agree the Superlite lettering in one color appears easier on the eye.

    G96/01 rear support

Scott one thing I know for sure ( Years at the race track observing other peoples mistakes ) is if the engine is solidly mounted the trans needs a solid mount. I've seen a few cracked trans cases in my day. They were rear wheel drive/ front engine cars though. I have no experience with a Porsche...
