    I have seen flanges made from aluminum that are attached with counter sunk flathead machine screws that have the wider pattern drilled in them. The headers then fit onto the attached flanges.

    These are the original 221/260/289 covers without any OEM venting. Depending on the heads they are mated to, certain brands of roller rockers CAN be utilized without any spacers. :thumbsup: These are becoming increasingly hard to find.

    You can purchase a used 358 CID Sprint Cup engine less manifolding form Jack Roush for about $16000 US that make excess of 800HP. It will have the best internals available, and be set up for dry sump. These are engines that run at the front of the pack.
