Air filters with 48 IDA's

This general topic has been discussed quite a bit but I have to ask if any one has used the Pipercross Competition type air fiters on an IDA setup for a 289/302 Ford???

I don't see this application listed on their Website?

I've seen the Piper Cross style foam filter on a local vintage racer. I dynoed my engine with and without the tea strainer style filters and we saw a 15hp difference with and without. I suspect the PC filter is more efficient. K&N and ITG also offer IDA filters although there was not enough clearance from the back light on my car.

I am using custom ITG's on my Kinsler intake. I am sure you can have some made for Webers, or whatever you are running.

I am pleased to see them on the big hoss... thanks for the photo!
