Re Rivets I hadn't thought of that, worth considering but if you do need to drill out then it will leave the back part in the chassis rail Re Riv nuts yes could be an option Thanks for the replies

Sorry These types of brake pipe clip 1 do you drill the hole push the clip through and push the "retainer" on from the back or 2 drill the hole for the retainer, insert the retainer from the front then push the clip in Originally I thought 1 but now learning towards 2 especially with chassis...

Tried hose clips but cant get that to work you have to do them both so tight its impossible to push the bush through, if I lube then then I cant tighten the clips without the bush popping out So going to try the bolt method next, then Dr Bob Woods suggestion
