Just measured and gaps are about 6mm

Ours at the paint shop,gap to close and you will be touching up forever

our painter said were the top of the door swings in and goes past the top of the scuttle will set the gap for the rest of the car, because that’s the tightest spot you can have once you have set that and the rest of the car will fall in,if you can understand that

Lots of file work to do on the door handle blanks that were water jet cut out of a block ,I wish I could say it was my work ,young sam was the one to put the work in ,the proper use of a file is a skill indeed

EBay and referb I’m afraid for the locks and strikers and home made door handles, but it’s worthwhile
