    Converting RHD SLC to LHD

I’ve given long thought to buying fender vents from RCR but at like 800 a set I think I’m going to try to cut my own in. A similar approach as the front vent except clearly they will extrude upwards. Then do as others have said and put in grill material. Nothing more than aesthetics for me on...

    Dusty's SLC Build

Ya mine is within 1/4in of the clam. The fiberglass will withstand a ton of heat, especially since it’s not direct. Paint not sure.

    Any background on this one?

I agree. Be interested to know what he sold it for. I’ve toyed with the idea of selling mine. But i don’t know if I’ll ever own another car like it.

Hello from Greenville SC! SL-C is on its way!!!

I would encourage you to do one, people will be able to provide suggestions, etc. plus everyone likes pictures. I’m going to do one for my FF coupe 65 even though there are tons of the cars built, little bits of info from experienced people is useful.

Severe rear end wobble on hard accel

I have the same combo. No problems here. Has to be something you missed that’s loose or broken. Or inside the diff. Pretty easy to pull the shafts out and inspect.

    Kurtiss' GT-R

I have a 65 coupe on order, scheduled delivery end of December. The wait now is about 8 months. Should be a nice car, no transaxle to deal with, trunk space, interior room, and cheaper.

    Kurtiss' GT-R

That looks great! House the room in there? I hear they’re quite a bit bigger than an SLC or gt40 for comfort.

    Michael's GT-R Build

I have to ask since this seems to happen often. Are these cases always a shop taking on more projects than they can handle? It always seems like a Ponzi scheme, take many clients, take the money, and then work on each of them in increments slowly keeping each customer floating along.

    FS USA G96 Trans

I was told less than 70k miles. I never installed it. Everything should be good. I was debating on opening it up, checking the gears out, replacing some seals and painting it.

    Dusty's SLC Build

They are, and it’s annoying at times. Mine is still in primer and gets a ton of attention. The only time you’re lifting the ass end is at a car show or if it’s broken down. Lucky for you that exhaust is going to do more than enough for attention.

    Dusty's SLC Build

I’d build a scoop like some have done for the intakes that rest in that area. Fiberglass will withstand a ton of heat, paint on top, not sure. I’ve been on the forum only 2 years, I’ve sifted through people building these things for 6yrs plus. Some even die in the process. Just drive the damn...

    Converting RHD SLC to LHD

Yes sir that was the plan to make them rectangular with measurements that suffice for both front and rear. Hopefully out of pink foam first. Make one mold, fiberglass them then fiberglass them into the body.
