They are Sparco seats that have a lot of padding. I also have the seat on a slider so between the padding and the slider it sits about 6 inches higher. I'm 5'8" on a good day and still have plenty of head room with them, but I'd say 6' would be pushing it.

I'll post some pictures of it and an explanation of how it works. Basically it acts as a stop point/guide to find 1st and 2nd.

I put up a new 2100 sq. ft. garage last year. Really nice to have to have the space. The shift assist box was co-designed with Peter, a fellow SL-C builder. It will work the same on any Graziano trans-axle using the cable shift shifter. It does fit inside the center tunnel of the SL-C.

It's a guide to keep it out of reverse and to make it easier to find first and second. It is spring loaded so you have to give it a good push over to the left to get it into reverse.

Have to say it has been the easiest build that I have done. There is a ton of room everywhere but things do get routed differently. Very much like building the SL-C but with a lot more space. The brake lines run through the center tunnel so make sure to run the lines, tighten all the...

Thanks. I starting making instructional build videos but ran into too much time of me figuring out where to put something or how to route it. Now that I have that all figured out the next one that I build will have a full start to finish video log.

With the gas tank out of the center tunnel I positioned the shifter, then drilled and tapped into the center tunnel. The aluminum is 1/4" thick there and then used six 1/2' 1/4-20 bolts to hold the shifter in place. Red thread locker and lock washers used also.

    Graziano Install

The hydraulic throw out bearing gives some resistance so expect that. Taike the plug off the port on the bottom of the trans-axle to release some pressure. Place the clutch/flywheel on the trans-axle shaft before installing just to be sure it will go on easily before bolting it to the...
