Fuel Starvation Under Braking - SPF40

I've read several threads about fuel systems, pumps, swirl pots, baffling, etc. I'm currently running a single mechanical (Carter) pump to the Holley carb on my Roush 427SR. Both the pump and Holley were supplied with the crate engine. My symptom is that the engine has died twice recently...

    Reconditioned connecting rods.

Shawn, Probably depends on your budget and how bulletproof you want the build to be. I have always liked the Eagle rods and they have them in the length you'd need. Just a thought.

    Gas Springs

I am updating this thread with my solution, in case others want to copy. I ordered (2) 60 lb gas springs from McMaster Carr (about $17 each). We fabricated some 1/8" steel brackets to sandwich the fiberglass under the rear bodywork. The gas springs come with 5/8"-16 ball stud ends. For...

    P2334's A/C Drain

Follow Up: Some of the recent posts were lost in the server hiccup. I have the enclosure out, as I have seen a couple of photos of completed SPFs with a clear tubing drain line exiting the front left (standing in front) of the enclosure. Thanks to those that weighed in or provided pics. I...

    GT40 Switch Label Option

Just thought I'd add this option for any of you that are looking for switch labels. There is an enterprising young lady named Amanda on eBay that can make circular labels to your specifications. They are inexpensive and easy to install. Here's her link on eBay: amandbol-7 on eBay Take a...

    SPF Seat Rivet Came Out

Follow Up: We teased out the bottom half of the rivet, as Dave suggested. Reshaped the two halves a bit and epoxied them together. Then carefully worked the rivet back into its original hole in the leather without removing anything else. Worked like a charm!

Gary: See Flickr site for lots of photos here: https://www.flickr.com/gp/141675158@N03/5eRtq9 Howard: This was a first-time registration. Dr. Bob: Yes, the replica path still exists. My goal was to have the car titled without the word "replica". The "Custom Vehicle" process facilitates that.

Rick, I had the enclosure loose yesterday. There is no drain on it. No hose, no bung, no anything. I can't see how condensed water escapes it. Help me. Tim
