Thanks Renato. Your build thread has been extremly good at giving me direction. Yes, i have given it some thought about how panel that area, but still not 100% sure yet. I want to get the hinge and door mounted to see how much room the swing of the door needs before i commit to anything...

Thanks Jason. I have plans for more parts also. Other utility we be secured using bespoke clamps also. I am not always able to get access to the car due to work commitments taking me away, so i get the chance to doodle drawings on a plane and make them when i get back ! Andrew

Hi Bill, I use one from your side of the pond. Its a Makerbot Replicator 2 It prints in ABS and PLA.... plastic basically. the difference being, PLA is "green" to make and use. It took about 4 hours to print one set of clamps / brackets. But for comlicated items it can take 12 hours or more...

Its my own 3D printer Brett, very handy for making up things like this. Model it in 3D and print. Great system. Andrew

Cooling pipes in and the clamps have come of the 3D printer and fit. They need to be secured back to the tunnel frame with 6mm screws and rivnuts, but coming together ! Andrew

Nope it's the same Keith, I have panelled that part with the intention of cutting an access hole for the door to swing into. Just wanted it to be seamless round there, for purely aesthetic reasons. Andrew

Yeah, thats the next job, cut out some access panels and secure them with rivntus. Then fuel pipes in. Andrew

More progress today. Only one more panel to fit into the footwell. Cooling pipes laid in, fit perfectly... phew ! :pleased: Pedal box and accelerator fitted, again, fit very nicely. All coming together like it was planned that way. A

Some progress at last. Has been a bit slow recently, mainly due to work commitments and being a bit undecided on how to proceed with some areas. Spent a bit more time getting the inside area tidied up and paneled, still a bit to go, final floor pan and firewall, but starting to take shape...
