    gt40 in spa

Nice video! 40s in the wet are fun. 40s at Spa in the wet doubly so! Interesting they ran different headlights for qualifying and the race. Plus they need to reprogram their Vbox rev counter!

    Abbey Panels chassis plate

The ali panels in the front wheel wells might be a mix of rivets and Sikaflex bonded. This made them more water tight. Can't remember the precise detail now but do recall how messy Sikaflex can be if not careful!

    Abbey Panels chassis plate

In this image i beleive from my conversations with Ray Christopher in times past that a chassis number could well be stamped discretely in the void where the vertical red chassis member is. You may have to poke around and look on undersides of chassis rails etc as it was not meant to be easily...

    Inner front fenders yes/ no

Car is a bit buried in the garage currently but managed to get these pictures if they actually help! Cannot open the clams at the moment. The GTD closure panels are separate panels like yours that fix to the front clam and you trim to fit. There is a foam strip between the clam and the...

    Inner front fenders yes/ no

GTDs have this built into the front clam in fibre glass. It has never caused any issues on my car. Keeps the air flow from the raditor and the wheel arches separate. I also made a plate that sits in the nose section so airflow is chanelled into the radiator and could not spill down or side...

    Measurements number decals

Off the shelf roundels are typically much smaller than those the Ford teams used in period. If you look at pictures side on to the car you can see the roundel relationship to the window and the sill panel and estimate reasonably well from that.

Does anyone here have an EV?

collect our first eV on Monday, a Kia ev6 gt line s awd. Tested the. VW id 4 and 5, ford mach e and Capri, and the Nissan ariya. Kia was the quietest inside, had a cross dash rather than big Central screen, and drove very well. All personal opinion. Capri is based on vw id5. So now Wendy's...

    Suspension parts for gtd mk1

the original GTD bushing were the rubber silent block type of bushing. If you wish to replace, either convert the arms to take rose/heim joint or talk to aftermarket bush suppliers and get some polyurethane bushings to fit. The latter is the easiest option and well worth it.

    Body parts wanted

I have a GTD mk1 front clip but it will need some fibre glass repairs to make it whole again. But that would make it cheap! Located in UK.
