For reference, here are some pictures of what my hose routing looks like with the adapter and LS engine. Many of the hoses don't have clamps on them yet.

My 4-port valve came with what looks like a short length of thin wall rubber hose. It is designed to slip over one of the ports of the valve as an adapter so that the 3/4" ID hose will push over it and provide a snug fit.

Mahlon, It looks like you removed the heim joints that support the rear of the transmission. Is this the case? If so, how are you supporting the weight of the transmission at the back end? (I'm getting an error message when I try to download the larger version of your pictures)

The adapter sleeve is quite a bit longer than the threaded fitting. I assume the bottom end of the adapter sleeve (opposite the splines) is where most of the length would need to be cut off in order for the threaded fitting to protrude through the top of the adapter sleeve . . .

I bought one of these Wide Range Tube Beading Tool for my stainless coolant pipes. Worked fine, although I wouldn't want to build several cars with it; not sure the tool would last through multiple cars. The stainless is pretty tough stuff.
