Back to the 60s --it presses all the right buttons

Who are you calling oldies? In the 60's flying was for the wealthy. Ordinary people travelled overseas by ship.

    Now, HERE's why I don't want a passenger's seat in my 40! NSFW!!

Great video. I had to run it several times to pick up all the safety violations. What passenger seat?

    Jag project

Steed's car was a Broadspeed built for racing, I believe.

    Jag project

I have always loved the Avengers Jag. Go for a really wild shape, with the lovely dark British Racing Green paint. Sadly, you need to stuff in a Chevvy or some V8 to get reliable engine power. Show us some pics?

An even handed debate here so far. Who could complain?

    F1 in 2012

How's things, Kym? Been on any road trips lately? Back on F1, at least Weber had a happy ending.

    Why you stopped posting.

Of course, the Liberal crap is the worst. Ron, I'm grateful you keep a level head through all this conflagration. I enjoy the Paddock, just ávoid things that don't interest me, political point-scoring, Pete, etc. (only prodding you, Pete, now get back to polishing your cars).

Looking forward to seeing more of 1103.

    1103

Good Grief, Richard. I trust GT40's were not supplied originally (the Mk III's) with a box of condoms. The 40 driver did not indulge in such frivolity (times change).

How Often Do You Drive Your 40?

Are you stirring the pot again Pete? There's a Paddock for trouble makers like you.

    Dimi's at it again 108 & 109

You are going very well, Dimi. Looks good. Incidentally, I believe Simmonds Wheels shut down some time ago, so are these NOS? Where do you find room on the V8 to drive a power steering pump? Pretty crowded I would have thought.

Do you think T70 Spyders are over-sophisticated and over-developed? Look what you could have done, Chris!

    DRB #5

Bill, this must be the oldest DRB still being built. But your car looks fanBLOODYtastic. Wow, that is so great. I'm really impressed Bill, and as you persist with all the final gremlins you are going to have a great GT40.

    KCC Restoration

Simon, are you planning on retaining the semi-trailing arms at the rear? These can work quite well, but are not as sophisticated in their geometry as the real 40 set-up.

    New from Ohio

Hi Ray. You sound like a complete mechanical nut-case. Should fit in really well here. Talk to Fran again; you'll get inspired to start a project.

    In Car Stereo

DRB's tend to have speakers in the top forward section of the door, above a handy remote interior door latch. Stereo head units tend to be central under the dashboard, although one in the attached pics is to one side. I've also seen the head unit installed in the driver's door.

    SLC interiors

Cup-holders?? We don't need no pesky cup-holders :) Seriously, the great chassis, engineering, and bodywork is let down (in a street super-car) if the interior isn't great. So many "kit cars" (horrible expression) have a crap interior that doesn't work, with a flat slab of polished plywood with...

    DRB Build in Mount Isa

I thought these quad cam modular engines had intakes pointing to the side. Ones I've seen are like this.
