    Sunglasses

Marcus, I don't know the answer to this. However, in answering your question, could the fashion police of the GT40 crowd also nominate which sunglass models are effective and make one look cool, and which ones make one look like a desparate old fart?

    A dilemma (NSFW)

Did we resolve the original dilemma? Which of the two articles you'd rather be caught down a dark street with? It involved elements of good taste and bad taste. The thread has subsequently had both.

1040 - And part of the GT40 Sbarro Story

Sadly, Ronnie, you have just lost all credibility with your reference to "lovely Scottish weather" :)

    Torsional Rigidity?

John is absolutely correct, in my opinion. You want all movement in the suspension, none in the chassis/monocoque. But there is a practical point of diminishing returns as he has spelled out.

What is the best engine for a GT40?

If we can just keep to the more serious things in life; sex, debauchery, bad jokes, and GT40's, we can all enjoy this Forum. Where does Keith fit in best, I wonder? Oh yes, I'm thinking about transaxles, Ron

    Cat Lover?

Another Test. Oh Good. Pete, We have cats (used to breed them), but that is really funny and the water gun device is quite well cobbled together from ceap bits. Some cats do need this.

The Coanda effect is commonly used in air conditioning. If you have, for example, a typical air conditioning diffuser set in a ceiling, the supply air from the diffuser tends to spread out some distance clinging to the ceiling surface. This is the Coanda effect.

Filters - The Paddock and Off Topic Banter

I seem unable to post in the Paddock, as Keith has also found (has PM'd me). Has it been turned off?

    You Tube Virgin

Lots of us are using full names now, and I joined the trend. Of course, more creative types, the sort of persons who would skipper a boat, keep changing their monikers with pseudonyms, phonetic names, and humorous abbreviations.

    GT40 Eye Candy

Michael, in your very first photo there seems to be a curved line of windscreen tinting. Is this correct, or an illusion? Looks quite low near the pillars.

    Looking for advice on Transaxles

Jake, once everyone has seen your hello here, you're going to need to move the technical discussion over to the transaxle section of the Technical Forum, where I'm sure there will be a number of members ready to discuss the finer points of what's availble around Chicago.

    Looking for advice on Transaxles

Welcome Jake. There are many members on here with experience and knowledge on transaxles. You probably need to define your requirements to get the ball rolling (mainly street, or racing? what power and torque is the engine output? is your budget economy or generous? will you work on it yourself...

    Pictures of Your Cat

Re: PICTURES of CATS I'll stick up for cats here, as we've had some very intelligent and friendly cats as members of the family. They are a lot more attractive, fun, and less trouble than babies (and yes, I've raised some fine kids who are now adults). People seem fanatically against cats in a...

    A dilemma (NSFW)

That's a hard one. Actually, Mr Hardy, I think it's time to concentrate on dignified pursuits such as your boat.

Beautiful. BTW, is this going to be a registered road car?

    JK's Track Tool

While all the above is relevant to the handling of the airflow beneath the car, I thought historically the major aerodaynamic flaws with the GT40 at serious speeds were the front end lift (front winglets sometimes fitted) and the large frontal area (cockpit narrowed on later adaptations).
