Safir trying to trademark GT40 shape???

This sounds like a replay of Carrol Shelby and Ford and against ALL replica makers. I am sure that if Safir gets their trademark they will go after ALL makers.

    Australian Grand Prix Tonight

Pretty good race. The new rules are going to make this year very interesting. Until the owners start complaining and asking for all sorts of expemtions for this and that. Go Ferrari!!

    GT40 & Ford GT

Stike2 great choice of cars and congrats to you to own both. Now all you need is a Superformance cobra to finish off the livery. Kalun I understand the new GT to be 10% bigger. Hence my GT44 monicker. Strike2 can tell us exactly when he goes out to measure as he spends hours looking at,sitting...

    CAV in Auto Show now.

The MK IV does nothing for me. A great piece of history to see but lacks the curve lines of the MK 1 and MK 2.

Thanks Bob. I'm assuming that the light blue/grey metal is the gas tank under the center console/shifter? Isn't that the way all "kits" should be. Just glue 2 sides together wait 24 hrs for it to dry and then drive away!! hehehe

The ride height is good for almost all applictions and is supposed to be accurate to the original. Most speed bumps are not a problem. But there are a few that it could get hung up on or scrape the bottom. The other issue of course is weight in the car. A heavy guy like me causes a few more...

Hi Tom. Sorry you missed the show. It was good but probably not as goog as Detroit. Also Ford did not have the cut in half GT44 there. Too bad, I would loved to have seen that. I'm under 6' tall. The seat back rest had to be adjusted and the roof of the car has a concave/hollowed out section...

Bill it's almost as big as a smile I had when I first sat in my OWN GT40. But not quite. I'm sure if Ford was to donate one of theirs to me I could smile a lot BIGGER!!

Hi guys got my first chance to sit in the new Ford GT. Since these are not allowed Canada as of yet and no dealers can get them and only 1 guy from Ford had the keys to the car, this was a real treat. Boy it was very comfortable and had ample head room as the top of the door is recessed. Also...

    "Blue and Orange"

Re: \"Blue and Orange\" Hi Norman. I agree I thought for sure there would be at least a pic of 1075 even just sitting at the track since it won both years. Very strange.

    "Blue and Orange"

Best Looking GT40 - Or Worst Looking GT40

Jon in Virginia I will see what I can get Ian to post for the gruop to see, with John of Calgary permission of course as he may want to post the pics himself as it is his car and he should, like all the rest here, be very pruod of his new baby.
