    Hello all

Welcome Cameron, This covers the 'whole story' or as near as damn it. Expensive but a massive book & worth it, in my opinion...

Trip to Circuit De Le Sarthe, Lemans France

Thanks for posting the pictures Sean. I go every time I'm in Le Mans as there is always a themed temporary display or a change of cars on display. The early car looks like it may be Claude's GT101R ? (R for recreation)

Good article on the Originals - Including the "failed" MKIII

So to continue Neil's point you may want to use your switch to operate a pair of suitably rated relays.

New Alan Mann Racing Ford GT

Hi Paul, Not the same car, so I don't need the coach. ( Coaches like that remind me of being taken to school too much !) Steve

    Ken's # 1 paint scheme color code?

No connection with Gulf Oil. Ford colour as Rick said. The story goes that Lee Holman was sent out to obtain some paint for the 'fender flashes' to make the car more visible & easier to see. Practice was done without the 'fender flashes'. Period photography varies, they often look orange...

    LED BULBS FOR REAR LIGHT

    Doesn't searching for the LED equivalent of 5 watt / 12 volt & 21 watt / 12 volt work ?

    Headlights

I have never seen a headlamp that could be used upside down. The lens is full of prisms that direct & focus the beam pattern (in conjunction with the reflector) in a precise way. Some headlamps had a 'flat top dip' pattern without the 'kick up' that illuminates the kerb when on dipped beam. I...

    Low flying Spitfire

That's good news Brian, Arthur presents some good documentaries. It's important to continue to tell & remind future generations of these kind of stories. Regards Steve

New Holman Moody GT40s, What's going on?

Lee Holman received the last batch of Tennant chassis & some of the tooling as Tennant didn't want to do any more chassis builds. (These are not Abbey Panels chassis from the 1960's.) They are not 'Mk2' chassis to my knowledge, but are GT40 chassis which can be built as either version. They were...
