My SLC is being built by Allan. It should be completed in the next few weeks. Interior is going in now. So, once the window arrives, we will be ready to ship.
Hey Dan. That is a great question, but one that i am unsure of. This is the initial windshield that is being supplied with my kit, so I dont have a previous to compare it to. I hope it's an easy fit because I am ready to get my car on the road.
Grant - good find. Thank you for that info. The item description did not state it, but I think that is a lexan windshield. I will give them a call to inquire.
Mahlon - I did hear from RCR today stating that it was being made and would ship in about a month.
You are coming out with some really nice options for the SLC. Can't wait to try out my new gears. You don't by chance have a windshield on the shelf do ya? Lol.
So, TxDOT will issue you a 30 day paper plate? This allows you enough time to get you car inspected, ect. I guess its worth a shot to try and title as the 1989 Mercedes C9. If it does not work, just set up an LLC in Montana and register out of state.
Cam - Tried to PM you but your mailbox is full. I am also interested in how you only payed $75. I am registering my SLC in march and would like to know the difference in registering as a Late Model Replica or a SLC Kit Car.
I agree. I used to have a cobra and drove with that crew. They are a good bunch of guys. I have also taken a few of my cars on the Lamborghini of Houston drives and those are fun also.
Dan Frank. Sorry to hear about the luck, but glad your son is ok. Are any of the races in Houston? MSR Houston? Interested in coming out to watch a race.
Hello Everyone,
I am happy to say that back in November, components for my SLC started production. I talked to Allen several times and was very impressed with his attention to detail. I feel fortunate to have him starting my build in September. I have already purchased the new corvette Z06...
