Not bad eh! This is a video of the "Lotus Trophy Series" here in Australia. The track is Mount Panorama, Bathurst. The cars are all identical Lotus Elises. The driver, Dean Evans, is a Motor Magazine editor. Motor have had the Elise on a long term test, and Dean has been running it in selected...

Great post Chris. TWR came out here that year with 3 of the big cats, and cleaned up. They were a very impressive car in their day. Tom was really "on it" over the top of the Mountain. Two wheeling it through Macphilamy Park.

The 4.6 Cobra motor in standard trim (as my car is now) is also quoted at 320hp. Hot up bits are still hard to find, but they will start to come more popular. The blower kits are huge in US with Mustang owners.

Jack, The 4.6 has passed emmissions tests with the original single throttle body in place. An 8-barrel (ie 8 trumpets) IS available for the 4.6 engine as an aftermarket item.
