    I would - Remove the harmonic balancer bolt and see how far down the balancer hub the crank snout is. It’s likely pretty deep. Pull that balancer and mic the distance from the crank’s timing chain sprocket to the end of the crank snout. Mic the hub of the balancer. Do the math.. That balancer...

    RCR GT40 removable dash

    While I never finished this part of my build (sold the car), I was setting it up to have the plenum bonded to the dash. Note that the front of the dash is actually to be held in place by the front of the spider. You’ll have to loosen the spider to slide the dash rearward.

    I did have a throttle cable problem and the cable end broke off. I set the idle speed adjustment to about 2k RPM with my pocket knife and made my way home.

    Looking good! Quick tip - On an RCR40 - Normally it is best to have your lower control arms move as far forward (shims) as you can get them in order to get enough positive caster when you finally align the car.

    Just a suggestion - From my past experience, you’d be far happier with the performance of your car on the street with -.5 camber all the way around. Straight line braking performance is also greatly enhanced.
