    As it's quiet

It does get a bit crowded on the grid sometimes:drunk:. Best we had this year was 9 3b's in one race at Donnington. Hoped we might get into double figures later in the year but as always, things never work out to get all the cars at the same meeting. A lot of people moan about the number of...

    As it's quiet

Hi guys, and a Merry Christmas to you all. Sorry for the delay in replying but not been online over the hols and I'm suddenly up at the top of the posts:drunk:. Right, I'll try and answer in order. I did have my Digital with me, so will try and find the pics I took. Johan, it's not Martins old...

    As it's quiet

Hi all. As it's been so quiet lately, I thought I'd post up a couple of piccys. Taken at Bruntingthorpe in Sept of a 3b we had just finished rebuilding, this was a shake down before the Spa 6 hour meet. Car ran great there, got pole and fastest lap and was leading until we had a gear linkage...

    Hewland DGB wanted-possible partial trade??

Hello. Just been catching up with this thread. The dimension you want from b/h face to axle c/l is 6" on the DG. What will make a distance is from what car the box you get comes, as input shaft length's vary greatly. For instance, an F5000/chevy insatlation would have a bell housing of around...

    Brands Hatch - themastersseries...

Not my car, more's the pitty, both the T70 and T212 are owned by Carlos Barbot. I work full time preparing/ repairing and restoring T70's for the well known T70 expert Clive Robinson. Probably had most of the 3B's running europe through the workshop at one time or another including all 7 that...

    Brands Hatch - themastersseries...

Nice pics. You can just see me in the very first pic warming up Carlos's T70. You should have stopped and said "Hi". Actually managed to get some pics myself this time as we went off at Druids on the first lap and had a very "spare half hour" sort of race.... I'll try and get mine posted soon...

    Brands Hatch Masters.

As it's been so quiet on here of late, just thought I'd put up a reminder for this weekends Masters event at Brands (25/26 may). Should be a good turn out as being sponsored by Lola. After the 9 3b's at Donnington last month, hoping to get into double figures this time as there are a couple of...

    T70 at Mallory Park Today..

Nah, you don't want to do that. You can't beat running around in the pouring rain changing to wets and trying to beat your 3 min pit-stop record...Oh and we've got all these lovely forged spinners to shift:drunk: See you at the track Darren

    T70 at Mallory Park Today..

Hi Jon. I finally found out about Stefano from Clive, so were all set for our capacity check at the weekend. Not now doing the test on Thurs but we'll be there for the race. I'll make sure we bring the spinner sets and samples as we have a few variants for thread tolerance. By for now Darren...

    T70 spyder tow eye

Thanks Johan. The early cars certainly throw up a few probs. The 3b's are a piece of cake by comparison, just build a centre splitter into the nose box. Yes, I noticed the fans. Are they original or a throw over to when it had the coupe body on the road? L8R Darren CRC Racecar Engineering

    T70 at Mallory Park Today..

Congrats on your 2 wins in Italy Jon. You got the gearbox sorted then:thumbsup:. Who and what got sent home for an oversized engine? Very sketchy details in Autosport. Will you be at the Donnington test Thurs, and the race at the w/end? I should be there running Carlos's 3b all being well...

    T70 spyder tow eye

Here are a couple of pics of the eye we use. It bolts up through the bottom of the nose box just behind the rad. Sits just inside the nose opening and is almost unseen, and strong enough to winch the car into the trailer by. Darren CRC Racecar Engineering

    Mk2 Chassis

I'll see what I can do. The Spyder has gone off to ba re-assembled elsewhere, as we've only done the chassis resto on it but the Mk3 coupe is in the shop for the duration. Supposed to be testing in March, and racing at Barcelona in april so should be progressing quite rapidly now..... Cheers...
