    ECU Recommendations

Thank you for the good advise Bill, I will use it to make the right choices. One thing I want is the ability for the ECU to communicate with the paddle shifter. I am hoping the paddle shifter will be easier for my wife to operate. I am not that far from you in Crossville, Tn. and hopefully very...

I will mount everything in location and have someone finish the installation. Finding a good wiring harness has been a struggle as well.

    ECU Recommendations

I have been looking at MoTeC ECU's and my thinking is they are more for racing use however you can adapt them for the rest of us if your pockets are deep ($15,000.00 -$20,000.00). Anyway, anyone care to recommend their preference for a ECU and why? As always, thanks for your time.

    MoTeC Products

When I look at all the different packages available nothing comes close to a complete MoTeC system. Granted I am not a expert but I do know what premium technologies looks like and how they apply to my particular needs. That is exactly the same reasoning I will use by going with Superlite SL-C...

    MoTeC Products

I got the quote for the package I was wanting including the paddle shifter option, something over 10K not including the actual wiring harness. They also recommend using their installer which for me is in Kentucky or they will come to your location. Yes Fran, quite expensive. The question in my...

    GT-R

Thanks Dean for the kindness. I do have one question that I would like to asked if I may. Fran and his team have engineered some one of a kind cars for all to enjoy and build. Judging from some posts you have build more that one model, my question is this; Is this your favorite and why?

    Dean's GT-R build thread

Anyone care to share their experience in building the GT-R? I have seen some later posts but nothing recent. The car looks awesome just like all the other cars Fran and his team cranks out.

    SBC exhaust

I was thinking of using a SBC engine, 447 CI, from Nelson Racing and wanted the exhaust to exit out the rear of the SL-C Lemans car. Can I use the forward facing headers form Stainless Works with three inch flex line to mufflers without many issues? Would there be any issues with the shifter...

    Proposed SL-C Lemans Build

After much thought and considerations this is the general specifics of the LeMans build. SL-C LS3 Headers

I read on a earlier post of headers for LS3 that fit the SL-C produced by Koons. I desire is to exit the exhaust out the back which means turning the exhaust up and toward the rear. Anybody have a design that may fit this application?

    Shifter Gates

Thank you for the reply. This build must be 100 percent visual and performance acceptable because the customer will accept nothing otherwise. The knowledge gained on this forum has/is based on historical events, life already lived.

    Shifter Gates

Thanks Fran for the reply, I searched the internet for just a example but, to no avail. I will just have to make my own gate, I am a bit of a perfectionist so, it may take a while. Again, thanks.

    Shifter Gates

Anyone know of a source for a 5 speed shift gate that installs on the console of your car? I know I can use a leather boot but I wanted to dress things up a bit for this build. Thanks to all for your valuable time,

    Transaxle needed

Anybody using the Weddle HV25 transaxle with the SL-C? My engine will be 650 HP at 620 torque rating. I wanted a synchronized transaxle for this build preferably 6 speed but would settle for 5 speed. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
