    My reasearch has started!

Robert, You have asked many good questions but please realize that there is also different levels of completion available from some of the manufacturers. IE you can purchase a bare chassis or a roller or a completed car. And one of the most challenging aspect of the builds seems to be panel...

To Build or not to build, that is the question...

Jim, Those tires look like Pirrelies like Tom has on his RCR. At least the tread pattern looks the same. That is a great looking T70:thumbsup: Mark

    Caging T-70 Coupe?

Kent, On my RCR70 they ran 2 tubes close together in the center at the roof. And at the back it is the same as the GT40. I am sure Johan has some good pictures and will chime in. On another note be sure to use tubing of a large enough Dia and wall thickness to meet any requirement. In my case I...

    Fuel bladders ....

Turbodon, That is good info as the racing I have done does require new belts every few years but have not seen a requirement on the fuel tanks regarding date codes. On one of the fuel tank sites for aircraft that I can not rember at the moment they do repairs but I was uncertain if the tanks...

    Road America Lola T70 reunion

As I have never been to a road course event before what level of tickets should a spectator purchase to be able to check out the cars in the pits? And are there any age limits for children as my son will be 15 going to this event. Thanks, Mark

To Build or not to build, that is the question...

Ricardo, Time wise it is cheaper to purchase a completed car as the market is soft right now. But if you are short on $$ look for either an incomplete project or check out the vendors if you are looking to save time. If you are really ambitious follow Meinolf and build your own with a tube...

    GT40 frame plans

Thomas, I think the first question should have been are you trying to replicate an original or build a space/tube frame? Sorry if I jumped in where I do not belong, But someone needs to start this into a direction that can give him some answers. Regards, Mark

Yes, the driveway was still covered in ice when we arrived home from Michigan, but we must have brought the warm weather back with us as mud season is fully upon us. The GT40 is now in storage in the...

Looking forward to picking up the GT40 this Saturday as we will have a 17 hour drive to get there going the short way across part of Canada.
