    RCR40 wear parts #'s

I thnk most of the heims come from QA1. I think fran uses alot of the PCM rod ends. https://www.qa1.net/rod-ends-and-related/rod-ends/2-piece/pcm-pcm-t-series-chromoly-steel But, ive got an Sl-c, so not positive on gt40

    RCR's Next car should be.....

I'd think this would be a pretty simple for Fran to make. A few tweaks on an SL-C. done. With the LS-7, the Aquila is closing in on $200k. Not street legal either..

    Fender mounted mirrors

I find the need for rear mirrors is to know if a cop has snuck up behind you. Not a prob on the track but could be classified as resisting arrest if you cant hear or see cop! Alex, the 917 is looking sweet. When will you have it on the road? will you beat the Arctic freeze? Any more pics?

    Pete B's Build Thread

I'd think Nitto nt05's would help cut your lap times. the invos are utq220, nt05 are utq 140. but i think the nt05's wear off 1/3 faster. But they are 335's so you have to grind out the wheel wells a tad. They look fat.. NT05 Max Performance Tire I was running a -1.1 camber and was getting...

    New owner!

I just cracked open the ps pump and pulled out the fins. Then packed it full of PS fluid. Instant idler, plus i use a stock ls3 belt. i may have added 6 oz compared to a regular idler but its been working for almost 15k miles..

    $10k Ls-3 vs. Coyote

I grew up with Mustangs and Cougars. I really wanted to put a Ford block in the SLC, but it just didn't make sense. Sure, LS is old school push rod and has tons of torque to deal with in the corners, but its cost effective and reliable as hell. Plug and Play LS will bring you over to the GM camp...

    $10k Ls-3 vs. Coyote

This was a pretty interesting comparison on Youtube. $10k put into a Ford and a Chevy to see how much HP they can make.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KFkOy0F5hGg

    Rear window lexan

I guess its personal preference but i think it looks pretty tidy with countersunk black on black border paint. I tapping straight into the F/G I can get my windows out in about 1 min flat. I bet they have been in/out 50x and still not a single problem with the lexan or with the F/G stripping out.

    Rear window lexan

Hmm. I countersunk all my windows 8/32 in the rear clam, doors and windshield. I've not seen a single crack in any of them in 14k miles. I think the trick is Fran recommended using black nylon screws. A huge amount of give. My last track event we ran counterclockwise on Eagles Canyon. The front...
