    Jokes anyone? -

The original was good but I like Jac Mac's sense of humor (humour).

Avons - Photos for Mike MHNCO

Eric, I don't know what the wheel/knock-off pattern is for your car but you are welcome to borrow my rear wheels/tires (295-50-15) for trial fit measurement purposes at some point during the winter months. You aren't that far from me. A.J. PS - I hope we can get both cars over to LIme Rock...

    Terrorism comes to Australia .

Apparently the Taliban massacre of all those children has backfired. Pakistan has now vowed to root out the Taliban and eliminate them. Sounds good but, based on Pakistan's track record, we'll have to wait and see. Too bad it took this kind of situation to wake them up.

    CIA accused of torture

Diane Feinstein is so upset with the results of the election that she is willing to potentially sacrifice the lives of more Americans, both military and civilian. She has been the most self-centered politician I have seen in many, many years. Just like a 3 year old who didn't get her own way...

    Tire advise needed

Thanks Bill. For those looking to replace the Nitto 450 : The Yokohama AVS ES100's might still be available at some dealers. The tread pattern is the same and I believe they are just a bit stickier than the Nitto. Size would be 215-60-15. UTOC 280, traction AA.

Bill - I got this the first time ("It was in my other post but here it is again. TireBuyer | Products | TireBuyer.com And in the "more info" button: Nitto NT555R - Free Delivery Available | TireBuyer.com") but if you look at my post I was asking about the front tires which you indicated...

Bill - I asked that because I couldn't locate them. Perhaps you could post a link with specs and a dealer who carries them.....would be most appreciative. Thanks.

    Tire advise needed

Avons are probably best, especially for dual duty. Hoosier makes some sticky tires but the sizes just don't work out well in a 15" size. One of the forum members ran them, perhaps he could offer some info. I have Yokohama AVS100's in that size but you can't get them anymore (Have a complete...

Ford : Ford GT GT Light hit-salvage title

Seems like the damage shown to the front end would in no way generate a "salvage" title. Caveat emptor.

    changeing title in connecticut

Lloyd - As far as I know, if the vehicle was originally titled as a current year, say 2001, composite, that's what it will stay. A friend ran into this with his Cobra, which is now 25 years old so he's out of the [taxation] woods. I suspect you could get around this by "totaling" the vehicle by...

    Veterans Day

It's good to see the recent returning veterans are getting much better treatment and recognition than those of the Vietnam era, even if the VA has stumbled a bit. When I returned to the States I was dumbfounded to see a group of young folks throwing rocks at our transport bus. I was given a...

    Two catch tanks

These are normally part of the coolant system. One of the two tanks is almost always a surge, or expansion tank and has a pressure relief cap, usually 12-16 lbs/in2 This allows the engine coolant fluid to expand as it heats. If the volume when hot exceeds the capacity of the tank, the cap opens...
