    Lotus 38 ish Replica

Hey Ben, Welcome "back". I saw your 38 video from the last Lotus event at Crow's. It would have been nice to see the 38 in action but, chose different events for that weekend. Still want to see that build in person! Cheers.

    slc vs gtr

The SLC has a smaller frontal area and is most likely lower drag. All things being equal the SLC would be faster, at least in top speed (depending on wing use or wing angle). Do you really mean RACING (as as opposed to track days)? If your "racing" is actual door to door road racing, then there...

Mazzei Formula 5 Rotor Turbo SLC

While your at it - raise the upper front shock mount (relocate mount holes) to clear the A arm pivot bolts. It will make removing the shock a whole lot easier in the future..

You meant to say polystyrene right? Have you done this latex 'seal' coat? It works? Neat cost savings if it does.

    SLC 24 Howard Jones

I am currently in discussion on updating my axles and CVs with DSS. Notice I didn't day "upgrading". The early Superlite upgrade was a 36 spline axle, with a corresponding bespoke CV assy. These were high HP capable and possibly overspec for most builds, including mine. 12-ish years later the...

    SLC 24 Howard Jones

The C7 rear bearing modification can be done without the need of a spacer on the stub axle bell or a longer axle. Although it does require a longer bell on the end of the C7 spline as made by the DSS. If the "Mitsubishi" bell is used, no spacer needed, at least on a Ricardo. I would venture to...

    SLC CV Joint Replacement

Thanks Fran, Looks like mine are 36 spline, which near as I can tell nobody makes a 930CV in 36 spline except DSS.

    SLC CV Joint Replacement

On SLCs - What CV with what spline count is used on the Driveshaftshop axles? Part number, best brand? It looks like it's a 930 when sitting side by side with an OEM 930 part, but (at least) the spline count is in question. Thanks

Restarting my SLC project in West Texas

A friend has her PhD in EE from Stanford, attended her dissertation. That was a momentous event for sure. Same friend attained a degree from Harvard as well, which is literally a stones throw from MIT. Best to you proud Dad and your son whichever school he selects. Side note - If we came...
