My Have Found A Coyote Intake Solution

Not a bad idea but I already have the intake manifold and it was almost 600 bucks. I need to use this one.

My Have Found A Coyote Intake Solution

After much thought and making brackets and adapters, this isn’t going to work. I think no matter what I do, it’s going to be too high to close the clamshell because the air cleaner stands too high. It looks like the robot on Lost in Space which is not the look I’m going for. I am now going...

My Have Found A Coyote Intake Solution

Actually I almost bought the Edelbrock angled adapter, but a member of this form made a suggestion to have it upright and I liked the idea. This is a work in progress, it could change 5 more times, but I like the look of the manifold I’m using.

My Have Found A Coyote Intake Solution

Closing the clamshell could be an issue, I’m still figuring it out. I just don’t like the crossing fingers manifold of the stock coyote. Has no aggressiveness at all and the 40 is an aggressive car.

My Have Found A Coyote Intake Solution

I was planning on putting the mass air sensor into the bottom of the air cleaner.

My Have Found A Coyote Intake Solution

I have been struggling with how to use my “drive by wire” accelerator pedal and not have to use a stock coyote intake. The stock intake looks terrible and doesn’t even resemble old school gt40; but that’s not as important as developing an air intake that doesn’t have to go into the driver...

Was there ever a Sunoco GT40?

These are some pictures I took off of YouTube. Does anyone know anything about this car? And does anyone know anything about this ever being a real car. I think this one is a replica. I also don’t think MKII’s had canards.

Was there ever a Sunoco GT40?

Thanks. That’s a great car but it’s an MKI. Is there any information on an MKII?

Was there ever a Sunoco GT40?

I’m beginning to think about color schemes on my project and I saw a video of an MKII in Sunoco blue with yellow accents that I really liked. I’ve been trying to research this car and there is nothing on this site or google. Does anyone know anything about this car? Did it race at LeMans and...

    MKII inner panels

I just picked up an MKII body that needs work. The clamshells have no inner panels. Does anyone have pictures of the underside of a rear clamshell for an MKII? Would be much appreciated. The more detail the better. Thanks Steve

Looking for an affordable body. No longer looking

Thanks George. This is actually a nice body. He sent me a bunch of pictures, but I am going to have to learn fiberglass work. Good suggestion on watching videos online. I’ll post some pics alone the way. I’m pumped!

    Show us your GT40!

I’m surprised that this thread doesn’t exist on this site, but I searched and there isn’t one. You could go through all of the build logs, but there isn’t a spot for you to post your car. I would love to see all of your cars. Please post them! Steve

Looking for an affordable body. No longer looking

I’m going with the MKII on eBay. This gentleman is a big gt40 guy and this body is a direct take off from an original. I’m going to do some fiberglass classes. Haha

Coyote Intake / May have found my solution!

Ordered some parts. I’m going to see if I can get the throttle body and the adapter to work before I order the manifold. I’ll post pictures along the way.
