Another option may be to collect the caps from everyone who already has them and have them all machined at once rather than buying replacement machined caps from QA1. The caps for mine will need to be machined as well I suspect (I haven't gotten that far yet) and I know of a very good machine...

Ben - I don't know for sure (yet) what the spider weighs but I think you're fine as long as the door stays closed. I've done pull-ups from a garage door rail (don't ask why....) and I know I weigh significantly more than the SLC spider! Dave L

Well, I have some good news and some bad news....... The good news is that 2 of the tanks are finished and in my hands and they look amazing! Tanks are fabricated of 5052 aluminum, sheet aluminum was professionally formed and welded. They really turned out better than I had hoped. So...

Update: The aluminum was shipped on Friday and is scheduled for delivery Wednesday 9/26. All materials will be delivered to Metals Joining Lab on Thursday morning for fabrication. Regards, Dave L

Alex - Sorry for the slow response, I've been traveling all week. In addition to the difference in the volume of the tanks compare the tank fittings. The Moroso has two small fittings (1/4" and 1/2" NPT) while the custom tank has 4 (5/8" and 3/4" hose barbs, -4AN male, 1/4" NPT female)...

You're of course correct but I think Cam's car was delivered before RCR made the change to the Mini Slim Line unit. There have been quite a few changes made since Cam's car was delivered including a fiberglass duct system that mounts on top of the footwell/under the dash. Dave L
