In talking with owners of the late model 1969 cars most of the improvement was in the breaking, lightweight chassis, lightweight body panels, Gurney Westlake power, and changes in the front suspension to eliminate bump steer.
IMO, an electric motor in a GT 40 is racist ( don't flame me you all know it's funny ) It just doesn't seem right to me. I can see this being cool in a prototype track car, like a Radical ect..... But a GT 40 nooooooooooooo
Just a little info for you.
Looks to be a Safir GT40 with a JW plate. To my knowledge JW did make I think thee cars with left over NOS parts and original chassis, but those numbers ended at GT P 1088 I think.
