    Australian Floods

Gees Pete Just saw this thread, been off to Merimbula for a few weeks and didn't get on the forum. Hope you didn't lose too much, I'm a bit far away to offer help cleaning up but if there is anything that you need, let me know. (I can probably organise a slab of beer delivered to you if...

    F1 2010

Pete I'm with Tom P on the incident, it was certainly a racing incident just like it was for Hamilton at Monza. He was unlucky both times in that at Monza his front was damaged and at Singapore it was his rear. I think Webber has shown that he won't be intimidated which is the trait a...

    F1 2010

Most exciting thing about the race last night (apart from Webber creaming the field - for us Aussies!) was when Hamilton put it in the fence and Red Bull were telling Vettel "critical brakes - critical brakes" but he kept pushing..... Hope Monaco is a bit more exciting.

    Got Burgled Yesterday...

You know how McDonalds put warning labels on their coffee cups to stop law suits against people burning themselves, well if you put a sign on your front gate/doors/windows saying "burglars will be either shot - bashed or killed if caught within this property", would it get you off the hook?

How do you define a kit car?

All valid, except that as Dalton said the term "kit car" has a negative connotation, especially when used by the uninformed. For that reason, I don't believe the GT40 replica regardless of producer should attract a negative term like "Kit car"..... Now REPLICA is a much nicer term that seems...
