That's usually the best idea - it took the tire shop almost an hour to find the most ideal place to mount the tire on the rim on one of my 345/15s .... when we started it wanted about 40 wheel weights, lol (we ended up only needing about 4 on one and 0 on the other side)
I ran into the same problem

Basically what I did to solve it was I put an AN fitting into the vent hole, then ran a -8 hose straight up to the roll cage (i..e, high point above transaxle) and jammed the vent fitting onto the hose...
after over a decade you know how many i2/isis/infinitybox fire-related wiring issues i've read about - 0. how many "normal" wiring fire re-related issues I've read about - plenty.
the system has some drawbacks - it's a blackbox, it eats batteries if you don't have a cut-off switch, you kill...
(just because every thread now needs a discussion on wiring =) ) I think you guys over-think it. I've been using it for over 12yrs now (going back to version 1 basically - i^2 1+1 system) without issue. Jay has been awesome at providing support.

Looks scary but it's fine .... hasn't cracked or done anything untowards to me in almost 10 years.
People have been using the stock radiator in the stock location for 400-700hp (and probably higher) ls engines for over a decade; it works. Just build a half-decent fan shroud to supplement it.
This post makes me lol - if you want a real challenge try cooling a 917 .... 3 radiators and...
Given Pete's front flew off, um, yea, I wouldn't use them. But as Will pointed out, the rear can't open w/o the doors open.

Don't sell - just stick it in the corner and build something else .. that's my philosophy :)
Now if only the damned exchange rate would move back to par I'd buy another one to build, but i refuse to lose a used Viper in the conversion, grrrr.
it's fine to use the infinitybox to run fans as long as you're under the amp limit.
My sl-c has been using it for fans just fine since 2010
and it controls 4 fans on my 917
If you google DOT lexan windshield apparently there is such a product by EMP
However, whether this is legit or Billy-Bob just stamped it in his garage I dunno, although I think you're right that all laws specifiy windshield must be glass.
