Wilkinson needs to get one of these transaxles installed in a race GT40 and give it some real testing. His Pantera parts are often manufactured offshore and can be of questionable quality, is this transaxle manufactured and assembled in the USA?

Why not contact Superformance and get a statement as to what the car is and represents? As they are imported turnkey minus, many states still consider them an assembled vehicle and perhaps why Superformance isn't in the WA DMV system as I can't imagine yours is the only one in the state.

Lots of Pantera owners add a stainless vent tube, breather cap or filter but very few have any sort of catch can, there really should not be any fluid loss through the vent, especially if you provide a little vertical height out of the transaxle.

That Group 5 is a phenomenal car up close, a fantastic restoration from the ugly Group C it became for many years.
