FS USA ZF -2 transaxles for sale

I lowered The price after noticing some nuts missing on the exterior of the case. It looks like someone opened them up previously, went through them and set them in grease for storage. They will need to be gone through and set up for use prior to being used. I will try and open up the lower...

FS USA ZF -2 transaxles for sale

I recently acquired several ZF 5DS-25-2 transaxles from an estate of a custom car builder who passed away. I went hoping to get either his gt40 or pantera but they were gone by the time I made the trip. I did whoever purchase out a number of pieces from his garage u tip I filled my truck. All...

Is it worth putting in a 427 side oiler?

Thanks for the reply. It’s the height and width that I’m most concerned about. It takes up a lot more real estate in the area with little to give up!! I’ll have to talk to Fran more when I order my kit and hold off on any engine builds until then.

Is it worth putting in a 427 side oiler?

My Cobra has a 427SO in it and weighs roughly to same as the gt40. Is it more engine than needed, absolutely. Is it crammed in there, yes. More torque than I’ll ever use, yes. But it makes the car 10x better (in my opinion) than a cobra with with a 302 and fake 427 badging. Also nothing beats...

Is it worth putting in a 427 side oiler?

From what I’ve read it was Ford’s own mechanical errors that caused some of the ZF’s to fail and the one’s they didn’t screw with survived just fine. Either way I’ll never get a T44 and the ZF is fine for 500hp or so, not like I’m track racing it all the time. Plenty of people have run big...

Is it worth putting in a 427 side oiler?

I’m in the early planning stages of my gt40 build. I spoke with Fran over at RCR and he said they can fit a 427 side oiler in their kit. My question is to people who have done it was there a ton of problems in doing it? I have a 427SO block and a ZF-2 box for it but I’m wondering if it’s...

Be Careful - receiving a lot of scam messages about the parts I am looking for!

Same here. They both answered my parts wanted ads. Sent emails and couldn’t supply pictures with them in it, better answers, etc.

    GT40 removal tool

Just got mine the other day for my Cobra. Excellent quality and fits my wheels perfect. The only complaint I have is the socket supplied to turn it got stuck on the adapter after tightening the wheels. Had to use a rubber mallet to knock it off.

    427SO internals, heads, intake wanted

I have a 427SO block standard bore that I’ll be building this winter. Looking around for parts and pieces to build it up. Would like forged internals, aluminum heads and an EFI 8 stack intake setup. Seeing if anyone has any pieces they bought and went in another direction. thanks!
