    Mark's GT-R Build

It is with deepest regret that I inform you all of Mark's passing. He had been hospitalized over the Christmas period. He had fought hard to regain his health and get back to working on his beloved GT-R but unfortunately I was informed of his passing over the weekend. RIP Mark Setter

No Larry I don't know anyone at Ford, they had no interest in our program when it was happening let alone eight years on.

Yes Larry I'm already looking at it, have been for some time now. I took molds off of me glass before I installed them for this very reason. It may be some time until this product comes on line however.

The system is fine although it only really controls the basic chassis functions. I had to add an awful lot of extra equipment to satisfy my requirements.

I finally plucked up the courage to take my beautiful girl apart to get the trans fixed. During the build I'd paid 3K for a guy to rebuild the transmission, I turns out 3K and 18 months was not enough to get it done properly as it came back with the same issue it left with, a none working...

Working on the base speaker trim panel, aluminum sub structure to create a mold, then GRP over that to create a part which in time will get trimmed. So much work for a simple piece!

The transaxel is a Recado OEM fitment on the GT. A common problem was the loss of the syncro on second gear, the trans I had had this problem so it was sent to Delynn for rebuild. Well some three thousand dollars later and I still have the same issue, plus I had to threaten a law suit to even...

    GT-R Engine Cover Hinge Info

If you are going to fit a hinge kit then here is a little info that may help. before you do anything make sure that you're body panels fit well together alignment wise, a 3/16" gap rear of engine cover to tail is about as tight as you can use. Make sure that the top surfaces of the engine cover...

The last of the lower dash panels are now done, including the glove box. Just the catch to sort out now.

Friday I made up the other side A pillar cap. Now I'm looking to create the glove box. I had to go back and wade through all my build photos to try and find one with enough of an image to remind me how I did the first one, It really dose not matter how many photos you think you took, you never...

The interior trim panels are coming along nicely, Im going to work my way around the A & B pillars then finish the base speaker cover last. all the other surfaces will be just sound deadening and carpet. Im not yet sure what Jared wants as a finish to the aluminum covers but Im thinking the rear...

Hi Joel, Yes i cut O ring grooves on one side so as to replicate the cooler. as for the sensor depth I used 1/4 to 1/8 adapters into the plate which puled them back out of the fluid passages the hole drilled for the 1/4 pipe tap blows sufficient fluid around the sensor tip.

I am not saying that you have to do any of this stuff to the front end, merely passing along what I did for the look that I wanted. You have to bear in mind that in order to run the ride height/stance that I wanted I also changed out the top ball joint and steering rod end to high angle ones...
