    Clutch effort ZF-2

Well maybe I'm using the wrong terminology, I mean the engine and transaxle are already mated, the clutch alignment tool had to be removed to do this. What I am wondering is how much force is needed to press the throwout bearing against the clutch diaphragm fingers to allow pressure to come off...

    Clutch effort ZF-2

Maybe a silly question, I am running a ZF-2 behind a 302, KEP bell housing, center force pressure plate with matching clutch plate, pantera adjustable TO bearing, external slave cylinder. Just assembled everything and I tried to engage the clutch - I would like to think I'm no slouch, but the...

Which uprights can be used with corvette parts

I guess both front and rear, initially I had collected parts some time back, and now that I am serious about building I want to use parts I feel comfortable with, also because I don't believe in re-invented the wheel, so to speak.

    Stewart Warner 240 misadventure,

Yup, that was a great post, took it a step further and took apart the lever and its fittings very carefully to better understand what is going on in the areas that are really not supposed to be servicable. Still not functioning as it should.

    Stewart Warner 240 misadventure,

Yes I did run it dry, I took the switch completely apart, including the brass tip and the lever inside the brass tip - I was curious that the lever really isn't a lever per se, it is connected but requires greater travel to actuate the longer aspect of the lever - I would guess that a direct...

    Stewart Warner 240 misadventure,

So I am new to the whole GT40 thing, figured I would gather some parts prior to ordering a kit. Well I, like a lot of people bought a 240 A12 fuel pump, took it apart, including the switch, cleaned everything, followed every post on this site. Put it back together, got the switch to work...

External Slave cylinder and mount options ZF

Hi just looking for some assistance in choosing an external slave cylinder and bracket for a ZF -2 to 302. I like the photos I've seen of the brackets that lie low and push upwards at a slight angle but I don't know of any sources. I can fab up a bracket pretty easily with detailed measurements...

Zf -2 to SBF throwout bearing hub choices

I meant the actual spacer, the hub that the fingers engage, instead of using an original pantera one, I've seen ones with spring clips built into the spacer to better grab the fingers but i don't know which ones to use.

Zf -2 to SBF throwout bearing hub choices

Looking for recommendations for an adjustable throwout bearing hub. I will be using a Kennedy bellhousing. I like the ones used by ford with the spring clips but I would like the option to alter the height of the spacer, thanks
