    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

Love it Frank! She does look like a brute, where is your exhaust buddy?

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

Scott, thanks for tips on building a temporary brace, I'm also heading down the road to a completely new rear tail section due to my fat exhaust system and this will help keep things flat as I build it up.

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

Thanks Mark B, I’ll add Delron rod to the shopping list. I also added a sliding rod to the tilton 600 pedals to activate a brake light switch.

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

Thanks Kyle, I’ll hold off doing any grinding until I fit the spider. I’ve made good progress with a majority of the chassis and ecu wiring now complete. My next challenges: 1.Mounting the Restomod Air A/C unit and hoses 2. Fabricating Tesla Electronic parking brake brackets 3. Mounting...

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

I’m fitting the dash and there is a 1/2” gap between the mounting tabs and the chassis. I’m not sure if I should mount with a spacer or cut out the back of the center bin to make it flush? Any recommendations?

Nice work Scott modifying that bracket, the final bracket looks OEM. You can't even tell it was modified!

I’ve called and emailed, with no response over the past month. Thought that maybe some others may have had better luck.

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

Hello friends! We had a little bit of snow near Seattle and so I did some drifting in the SLC in my driveway (Sorry no video) it was dark and no headlights. I pulled the beast into the garage and she was dripping with slush, this reminded me that another builder warned me that his ecu and...

Restarting my SLC project in West Texas

Nice progress Hector! I have yet to do my alignment, but now I need an assistant who can perform a 1mm jump assist. LOL Brace yourself for the electrical beast, I would recommend the hpacademy clubsport wiring course if you are unfamiliar with automotive harness building.

Brian M's SL-C Turnkey Build Thread

That is a gorgeous exhaust, but it seems like it may not fit under the race tail. I just measured my R8/Gallardo exhaust clearance and there is ~6.25" between the top of my Graziano Transaxle (aft of the shifter) and the Race Tail. My Quicksilver muffler is 5.5" tall and there is 0.5"...

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

Howard, you made good points concerning the weak points on the body and exhaust mount. The muffler is the closest that it can be to the top of the transaxle and not interfere with the shifter. Because the exhaust system interferes with the stock diffuser and the race tail I will be designing a...

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

I overcame low fuel pressure issues yesterday and was able to hear the new exhaust for the first time. It sounds awesome, I'm happy with it, though it is extremely loud even with the valves closed. The revving starts at the 4:10 mark! Enjoy!

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

After some head scratching I have the exhaust down pipes and muffler mounted. As promised I had to cut the butt off the race tail to stuff the muffler in there. The titanium muffler is beautiful so I may just keep the bumper delete look, what do you all think? Question for race tail owners...

    Aaron's SL-C build...

I love the gauges and omp wheel Congrats on a smooth engine start. I highly recommend the hpacademy.com classes for club sport wiring.

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

I contemplated a custom build, but the time investment in the titanium muffler chamber wasn’t worth it vs. buying a close fit and modifying it. This is a Quicksilver Titan Active valve exhaust for Audi R8 / Lamborghini Gallardo. It has a nice high pitch ring since the muffler is titanium, but...

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

Things are about to get very loud up in here! I’m so anxious to get this exhaust mounted, that I may hire some help. It will be interesting to see if the current mounts fit under the race tail.

    Mason’s Build: Superlite SLC

Thanks Mark, one other detail is that the Y should be centered so that the pressure is equalized. If you do this also make sure you buy submersible fuel hose, I bought a 10’ spool of dayco for $120. The official lifespan for the cell is 5 years max, and +2 years if it passes inspection so best...
