    Seat Grommets repair kit

I had a couple of grommets pop out of the seats a while ago. Yesterday, I came across this 'Tarpaulin repair kit' at a gardening show, which is a fair match for what is on the seats. Worth a try. Dave

    P1109, horror!!

Very sad, and I agree with Ryan the car looked very nice, hopefully it will be repaired to the same standard. With regard to the Ship of Thesus thing, I firmly fall in the doesn't matter camp. Since all of our cells are replaced since we first joined the forum, should we be made to re-register...

Installation of Jenveys with Emerald ECU on my 302

Bracket for Toothed Wheel Sensor. Since I found it impossible to measure, this was a trial and error exercise. A few stiffeners welded on to avoid vibration / contact of the sensor tip. Dave

Installation of Jenveys with Emerald ECU on my 302

Today I installed the rear air bleed connections in the intake manifold. It didn't quite go according to plan, but I think that it was ok in the end. The last time I did this, I had a little bit of difficulty with the 1/8 - 27 NPT taper, finding it much more difficult by hand to keep the tap...

Silicone Y hose to fit 302 Cobra manifold twin outlets?

Here is the current system, there is no room to use the Y pipe which sweeps down into space I don't have. What I need to do is go sideways to pick up the current outlet ( blue hose leading to stainless pipe at the side. So at the moment I can make up from bits, or buy a cobra cast manifold, make...

Silicone Y hose to fit 302 Cobra manifold twin outlets?

Thanks guys I appreciate your help, at the moment my outlet (from the old thermostat housing) goes to the RHS at head level then down, looking at this original layout it seems to go more or less straight down. It will certainly be easier if I can find something to fit the current routing as it...

Silicone Y hose to fit 302 Cobra manifold twin outlets?

No joy yet, so I will look at alternatives using one 90deg bend, one T piece, and aluminium joiners. Dave

Silicone Y hose to fit 302 Cobra manifold twin outlets?

Thanks Ian, but I suppose Y hose is a bit misleading as the two outlet pipes are parallel. Pictures show the manifold and the cast aluminium piece which I would prefer as a silicone hose. Dave

Silicone Y hose to fit 302 Cobra manifold twin outlets?

I have a 48 IDA inlet manifold with twin water outlets. I was looking for a Y hose to fit, but can only see the cast aluminium pieces on sale in the US. Are there any uk sources for a silicone hose to fit? Dave

Installation of Jenveys with Emerald ECU on my 302

Tonight I cut the centre of the toothed wheel out, using my best apprentice skills to file it to my marking out until it tapped onto the pulley. The id of the outer ring just happens to be the same as the pulley hub od which helped. Next I will finalise position, weld then true up the teeth if...

Installation of Jenveys with Emerald ECU on my 302

Thanks guys, I'm way below the expertise shown by many of you on this site, and I value all your advice and comments. Next tasks are to mount the toothed wheel on the pulley, and place the pump and filters, ecu and sensors etc. Dave
