VW W12 to Porsche G86.20 transaxle

It looks like the front bay is intended to have panels on the non-diagonalized areas. The vertical tube at the front of the rocker areas really needs more transverse rigidity.

Is there any ny differnce of the loctaion of the electric harness, fuse box locaton on Left Hand Drive vs Right Hand Drive GT40 manufacturers?

On the ERA. the relays and circuit breakers are mounted on a bracket on the "passenger-side" front firewall. Hence, much of the dash harness is mirrored between LHD and RHD versions.

    GTD Wiring schema - fault?

I didn't trust the Lucas ignition switch, so I only use it to trigger a main relay.

Cooling issues, bleeds and electric pumps

We install a couple EWP pumps about 20 years ago. I have the original box, but it has no model markings. I wouldn't be surprised that there was only one available back then and it was probably similar to the EWP130. It worked fine with a 400 bhp 331.

    RCR40 - Dragging Brakes

I don't know RCR's configuration for the brake reservoirs, but you only need the residual check valves if the reservoirs are below the level of the calipers and master cylinders. Otherwise, the normal fluid head pressure will keep the air out of the system and keep the pads from abnormally...

importing a completed replica gt40 into the US

We've never bet on a single container getting through. Always split things up so that it can't be recognized as a "cheater".

importing a completed replica gt40 into the US

Your best bet: Pull the drivetrain out (and maybe the suspension too) and import in several shipments as "parts".

    Rear-View Camera setup

That thing better be gold plated. There are many good ones available for under $200. Some of them might call themselves "backup camera" but they work just like rear view mirrors.

Coolant temperature sensor position - fan operation

The radiator output is preferable. It will only turn on the fan when there is inadequate airflow from road speed.

New option for fuel level senders. Looks very interesting and low priced.

You could cut a hole out of the foam and, if necessary for support, line it with a porous cylinder.

New option for fuel level senders. Looks very interesting and low priced.

Interesting, but "Easy to program the level of any tank and electronic gauge - does not work with OE style gauges that utilize an ohm only input." Someone will have to try it with Smiths.

    Quad Tail Lamps Question

I would ignore the amber light's connection to its dimmer filament. Use only the bright filament for the signal connection. Treat it as a single-filament light. Otherwise, it's just going to confuse the person behind you.

Oil temp sensor before or after external oil cooler??

I would measure the temperature before the cooler. Oil temps there indicate the state of the bearings under load. The oil cooler may hide a problem until it's too late.
