Yes. Fire circles for marshals to know what the material is in case of fire. Required at Le Mans. Yellow is for aluminum. Red is for fiberglass. J6's were painted red on yellow alloy roof by mistake and tried to be wiped off with gasoline which turned them orange.
It was really great having Fran and Ken with us. We ran with Giants. Over 40 factory entries. Our car slowed for a double yellow and a factory MB hit us. Most GT3's would be done but our car is very strong and we were able to repair it losing 15 minutes. If not for that... Sadly later crew...

Consumption is key. We have 12 injectors and very complex engine management. We have a large number of maps. Rain, Temp, etc., etc. The key is 8 laps. If you make 8 you can save one stop. We arrive with 1/2L.
The entire Ring is Brutal. Try to run a La Ferrari at Speed for more than a lap much less for 24 hours. Ride height and set up is totally unique for the Ring. After a 24 the cars are pretty cooked.
