It could not have been AM GT 40/1. This car would never have been in that area during that time. AM 2 would have likely been painted blue then.

AMGT40/1 did have all of the MK II mods done by H-M. The tests were with a Weber equipped 427 and auto trans.

Anyone know a source for the aluminum, louvered material used on the early, original GT40 rear louver panels? (Panel on each side of the exhaust outlet with 9-10 vertical rows of 1" wide louvers, as fitted to 1002, 1003, 1004, 1017, 1026, etc).

MK II cars. In old pictures, they can be identified by their black color and round shape wiper arm.

The red / gold GT 40 is AM GT 40/1, my GT 40. The event was great for me. I was also able to run on the track with 1051 during the weekend.
