    Turn in your firearms...

Hmmm...that's odd. Usually, you can take the "Bob Mugabe Seal of Approval" right to the bank.

What's your top ten driving music play list

I don't believe that anybody feels the way I do Yes. They were a perfectly produced band. No matter what else, their records sounded great.

What's your top ten driving music play list

Ladies and Gentlemen, your oddball list...enjoy. 1- How rapid is rapid? (How quick is quick?) :Art of Noise (I have yet to find a digital copy of this one, I had it on a cassette that was stolen for obvious reasons. Everyone needs this tune. The album is called "In no sense? Nonsense!") 2-...

    Gossip - An Overview

It is good sense. I have an in-law that moves at the exact speed of bad news. Apparently, the two are one and the same.

GT FUSION - An Idea I'm Working On...

Hi, I posted a response in the other thread. I thought this one was discussing the GT40 powertrain they put in the Fusion! Nevermind. I like the overall oevre, but you might benefit from looking at the front fender/windshield rake. it may be causing a balance issue. I like the rework of the...

    GT40 History Question....

Sorry to bump such an ancient topic, but I'm wondering if anyone can expound on it? Are Ford "F" codes based on the GT40? When were these produced? Can anyone detail the heads of these machines? Are they the ones built between Sept 68, and Jan 69?

Where do you go from a ’40?

The only way forward is to go back to the beginning. If these cars are truly #1, there is no place to go but down, no? http://www.september8th.com/simone_06_p1.html For credit.

DESIGN of a New GT40 successor

If I may, I'm not as sure to whom the project applies. To the enthusiast, there will be a preference between GT over GT40, or the reverse. To the layperson, any differences may be too obscure to notice. As a project, wide-held success may depend on a definite direction. Past to the Future...

Buyer beware when buying a used Ford GT.

I don't know if it's more money than sense. (I would not judge GT owners that way from this forum.) I think they attract people who like to say, "To Hell with PROFESSIONAL DRIVER ON CLOSED COURSE, DO NOT ATTEMPT."

Ford GT, Ford GT40 Name Discussion

Re: Why did they name it that? That's an interesting take....did Safir buy the "GT 40" name which never existed? Can we call the new one the GT 44 despite what's scripted on the rocker panels? Thank you all for your time and replies...I realize that, being without a GT myself, its an academic...

Ford GT, Ford GT40 Name Discussion

Re: Why did they name it that? Thanks, Ron. (I'm wading through the info as I type.) Well, it's nice to know, but if the legend holds true that the 1960's car was named for it's "Forty-inch Height"- Couldn't Ford have used GT44 without reprisal? (Or maybe no one left at the oval is that bright?)

Ford GT, Ford GT40 Name Discussion

This poll is pretty obvious, I'm wondering if this is the right place to put it. After looking up the specs on the new car, I find it's height listed as "44 in."

    motor questions

#1-Depends on if you can pay a guy to build a motor better than you can. #2-EFI allows for a higher 'mph' - but Carb will get there faster.
