A little update today. I have solved the seatbelt problem in the meantime. All the sheet metal is finally finished, adjusted and painted - ok, almost. Holes over holes, I'm fed up with drilling...

I was told by Craig Davies and Pierburg to position the pump close to the radiator. The path on the suction side should be as short and cool as possible

Hello, I own a Edelbrock Super Victor 351W Intake Manifold - SKU:2924. There is an NPT thread in the thermostat housing for the Coolant Temperature Sensor. Does anyone know the exact name/size of this thread? I have attached a picture so you can see which one I mean. Thanks! Hans

Thank you Paul. This arrangement makes more sense, you're right. If you use a combined swirlpot/expansion tank, it has to sit high in the engine compartment. But then it will be difficult with a bleeding line from the radiator at the front to the rear
