I put the numeric shifter on my build. Haven't driven it yet as car is going through paint, but it shifts like a dream even with the cables going through some tight bends. Worth every penny.

This is what I did with my G96.50 in my Pantera. Not exactly the same box or car, but hopefully it might give you an idea.
