We are running a fresh overhauled Maserati 4.2 with twin Garrett turbos, liquid to air inter cooling, MoTec M150 ECU. Everything is mounted. Once the plumbing is finished will post pics;)

For what it is worth I paid 600.00 bucks for 1 new piston in an F355 engine about 4 years ago. I am not joking. So yes, you are correct. To make matters worse it was stamped "Mahle" on the bottom...Nothing special just odd sized....

I would not stuff a Ferrari motor in the vehicle that has timing belts if I had the choice. (Ferrari reccomends a three year timing belt replacement, and during access folks typically replace tensioners, cam seals, etc) Stick to F430 power or newer. Ferrari reliability really improved from the...
